제목 Anti-fouling performance of SPC resins using the low surface energy materials
초록 The biofouling is the undesirable accumulation of microorganisms, plants, and animals on wetted structures. The biofouling was hindered on surface energy between 20 and 30(mN/m) such as the Poly[oxy(n-octylsulfonylmethyl)ethylene](OSE). The self-polishing copolymer(SPC)s has been applied to antifouling paints because SPCs are constantly eroded. In this study we synthesized OSE and two kinds of Zn-based copolymer. The structures of the synthesized polymers were confirmed using 1H-NMR and FT-IR. Other properties of samples are investigated through the immersion and abrasion resistance tests at the static state. The results showed that the contents of OSE influenced not only antifouling performance but also abrasion resistance of SPCs.
