Electroactive hydrogel (EAH) can be considered, as one of the intelligent materials or artificial muscle, which can be actuated by electric energy. We studied feasibility of poly(acrylic acid-co-1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone-co-N-isopropylacrylamide) hydrogel showed two special characteristics, dynamic motion by electric energy in electrolyte solution and swelling motion in varying pH solution. To improve electric sensitivity, hydrogels were added to silver nanoparticles. Particle size of silver nanoparticles was measured by Atomic Force Microscope(AFM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometer (EDS). Electroresponsibility was measured under electrolyte solution with varying ion strength and gel stability was measured in varying buffer solution. Also electric sensitivity according to the silver nanoparticle contents was measured under electric field. Synthesized electroactive hydrogel containing silver nanoparticles was increased electric responsibility.
