Effective antimicrobial surfaces for the application of vessel surface coating |
초록 |
Bacterial adhesion and colonization cause several problems such as device associated infection and damages to the devices and vessels immersed in water. Although numerous studies have been conducted to solve the problems by bacterial colonization to the surface, biofouling prevention still remains a major challenge. In this study, we suggest the new strategy for creating the effective antimicrobial surface through the studies about anfibacterial performances of the new biocidal N-halamine polymers and inhibiting abilities of comb-like polymers with very low surface energies against bacterial adhesion. |
