제목 Multi-functional Nanocarriers Based on Calcium Phosphate Coated Gold Nanoparticles for Cancer Therapy
초록 Multi-functional nanocarriers for theragnostics are focused recently and a number of nanocarriers have been developed. Metallic and inorganic nanoparticles are attractive materials for thergnostic nanocarriers due to their unique properties such as size- and shape-dependent optoelectronic properties, high X-ray absorption and magnetic properties. In spite of numerous advantages, inorganic nanoparticle has limitations to use for nanocarriers because of their structural characteristics and a number of researches are in progress to overcome this limitation. Herein, we described the fabrication method of core-shell nanoparticles for nanocarrier based on gold nanoparticle and calcium phosphate. Drug was successfully encapsulated in the pH-responsive, nonagglomerating, nontoxic calcium phosphate layer and the delivery pathway and accumulation of drug loaded nanoparticles evaluated by X-ray CT using gold nanoparticle core.
