제목 Diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-Based Low-Band Gap Polymers for OTFTs and OPVs
초록 Recently diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-based conjugated polymers have extremely fascinated as semiconducting materials for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic thin film transistors (OTFTs), and organic photovoltaics (OPVs). The DPP-based polymers have been shown to exhibit efficient luminescence, good field-effect charge transport, and small band gaps due to DPP core’s electron deficient nature. Here we present the synthesis and detailed characterization of new low band-gap copolymers derived from DPP units containing 3,5-di-tert-butylbenzyl groups. The polymer has shown ~1% of power conversion efficiency (PCE) with ambipolar characteristics. Their thermal, optical, and electrochemical properties are also described.
