제목 Functionalized hole transport material for solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells
초록 In solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells (ss-DSSCs), there was severe problem for application of solid-state DSSCs, which is poor pore-filling and high recombination rate. It can be a big obstacle to apply the conducting polymers as a hole transport material for ss-DSSCs. In 1997, Yanagida group, however, suggested photo-induced in-situ polymerization (PEP) which could overcome these problems. This method is consisted of two parameters such as light source and electricity which are driving forces of polymerization. In principle, dye is exited and generates electrons and holes, and then generated holes can be an initiator for oxidation of monomers which is the first step of electropolymerization. After that, oxidized monomers can be polymerized easily under low bias. Here, we synthesized and characterized new monomer having functional group to prevent recombinatnion, which showed better solar cell performance than that of bis-EDOT.
