Recently, there have been growing developments of biomaterials which could utilize for biosensor and drug delivery application for capturing biomolecules such as glycoprotein, virus, bacteria and so on. Tannic acid (TA) is a kind of plant-derived polyphenolic compounds which showing good biocompatibility, water solubility and strong interactions with proteins via noncovalent and covalent bonds. Furthermore, since each TA molecule has 25 hydroxyl groups, there is an advantage that many active-sites capable of protein-TA binding are present by covalent bonding with primary amine groups. In this study, TA-functionalized gold nanoparticles were prepared to capture a variety of biomolecules for application to biosensors. In addition, biosensoric devices were fabricated by using PDMS substrate. Their physicochemical properties and binding ability were evaluated. |
