Seaweed species and pretreatment effect on thermal and mechanical properties of seaweed/polypropylene biocomposites |
초록 |
The seaweed by-product was derived from biomass production processing but it can cause disposal problem. The impact strength and thermal stability are important factor for applying biocomposites applications in the automotive industry and the characteristics of brown algae(BA) and green algae(GA) were investigated with seaweed species. As a result, sulfuric acid preterated GA and it biocomposites showed higher thermal stability and enhanced mechanical properties than those of GA treated with ethanol or acetone. |
