Zwitterionic fluorescent nanoparticles are developed by using BODIPY conjugated ploysulfobetain metyhacrylate and GO plate for the detection of tumor cells in response to the intra and extracellular stimuli by pH condition. The nanoparticles were well characterized by H-NMR, UV-vis, Fluorescence spectra, DLS and AFM measurement. The fluorescence intensities of the ZFNPs are highly influenced by temperature and pH. Confocal images of the nanoparticles in MDA-MB 231 cell also confirm the intense green fluorescence at low and high pH values but no fluorescence signal under physiological pH. These results indicate that our developed fluorescent nanoparticles can be a powerful tool for the selective detection of cancer through cellular imaging. |
