제목 A tunable fluorescence nanoplatform using BODIPY-conjugated polymer with graphene oxide for cancer detection and treatment
초록 This paper demonstrates the development of pH and thermo-responsive fluorescent nanoparticles (NPs) composed of graphene oxide (GO) with BODIPY conjugated PEG, to trigger cancer cells detection through imaging. The NPs were well characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS). Responsiveness to pH was conducted by AFM and observed an apparent thickness differences upon changes of pH. Confocal image of the NPs showed remarkable bright fluorescence at lysosomal pH while no fluorescence under physiological environment were observed enabling the NPs as a novel fluorescent probe. The NPs also revealed outstanding cell viability. Therefore, the developed NPs are novel candidate for a fluorescent probe to identify the cancer cell along with a drug carrier to treat cancer.
