제목 One step conversion of CO2 containing syngas to DME over hybridized CuZnAl with ferrierite catalyst
초록 The direct hydrogenation of CO2 containing syngas to dimethyl ether (DME) is a promising strategy to mitigate the greenhouse gas effect. Due to unique shape selectivity offered by ferrierite towards DME synthesis, we successfully synthesized FER with different morphologies and tested their activity for one-step conversion of reaction gas to DME by forming hybrid CZA/FER catalyst. The reaction results for morphological effect of different FER structures have been evaluated and the structure-activity relationship showed that the nano-sheet ferrierite morphology governed the best activity and selectivity for DME synthesis. This was attributed to the better dispersion of cluster Cu oxides and the generation of optimum Lewis and Brønsted acid sites for direct DME production. The effects of experimental conditions on the activity-selectivity pattern were also investigated, to disclose the effect of reaction variables leading to higher DME selectivity.
