Low detection limit nonenzymatic glucose sensor based on CuO/SWCNTs composite |

Copper was deposited on porous SWCNT template on indium tin oxide substrate using rf-sputtering followed by oxidation at 400 ℃ for 2 h in air. The prepared CuO/SWCNTs/ITO electrode was characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. The glucose sensing properties of this electrode was investigated in 0.1M NaOH solution by cyclic voltametry within the potential range 0 to 0.8 V and amperometric response at optimized potential 0.5 V. It shows the linear range of glucose detection from 0.05 to 400 µM with high sensitivity of 2290 µAmM-1cm-2 and very low detection limit of 0.05 µM. |
