Glucose biosensor based on PEDOT thin Film |

Glucose oxdiase (GOX) is an important enzyme for glucose sensing and biofuel cells. For these applications, immobilisation of GOX and direct transfer of electron from the enzyme to an electrode material is required. In this work, the synthesis of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) with high condutivity is described. Cyclic voltammetry shows that direct electron transferring is possible between GOX and PEDOT, and also the sensing of the glucose is performed. |
