제목 | Facile and One-step Solution Calcination Synthesis of Layered Cathode Materials for Li-ion Batteries |
초록 | Cost of LIBs should satisfy battery market requirement, yet the cost issuebecomes severe due to recent tremendous utilization of LIBs. Cathode part isbottleneck for lowering cost. Energy intensive multi-step synthetic processof the cathode materials detouring co-precipitation and subsequent solid-state calcinationprocess should be improved to lowering the cost. Therefore, it is needed todevelop facile synthetic process of the cathode materials. In thiswork, we successfully synthesized layered cathode materials for LIBs via one-potsolution calcination synthetic method. The cathode materials are synthesizedthrough chelation reaction between metal ions and polymers, followed byone-step calcination step. We elucidated structural evolution of the cathodematerials for synthetic process. The cathode materials synthesized by the one-potsolution synthesis exhibit improved cycle performance and rate capabilitycompared to reference synthesized by conventional solid-state method. |
