제목 Opportunity of the Water-gas shift reaction in Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework (ZlF-7) membrane reactors
초록 Hydrogen is a great candidate for an alternative energy source to address environmental issues with regards to petrolium based energy system due to its clean nature as well as an important chemical platform in conventional petrolium industry.  
We modified a α-Al2O3 support using Mg in order to remove the surface acidity of the support that has an inducing effect on the hydrothermal stability of ZIFs crystals and membranes and the ZIF-7 membrane was studided at 423—573 K and 20 mol% of H2O concentration.
As a result, the ZIF-7 membrane used as a membrane reactor for water-gas shift (WGS) reaction at 423—573 K enhanced 7—21 % of CO conversion of WGS reaction at 423—573 K and had 52—61% of H2 recovery.
To be our best knowledge, it is the first report that a ZIF membrane is utilized for WGS reaction as a membrane reactor. Because we figured out how to prevent ZIFs from decomposing under the hydrothermal condition in this work, henceforth we hope research scope for a MOF membrane could be wider and practically used in industry in the end.
