Photoinitiated Polymerization-induced Microphase Separation for the Preparation of Nanoporous Polymer Films |
초록 |
Nanoporous polymer films with well-defined three-dimensionally (3D) continuous pore structure can be useful in applications such as advanced filtration. We have previously reported facile fabrication of a cross-linked block polymer precursor possessing disordered bicontinuous morphology that can be readily converted into 3D continuous nanoporous polymer films. The precursor was produced by photoinitiated reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of a mixture of monomer, cross-linker, macro-chain transfer agent and a photoradical initiator. Bicontinuous morphology was induced and arrested via polymerization-induced microphase separation (PIMS) mechanism. Details in synthesis and characterization of the precursors and the porous polymers will be discussed. |
