Conductive polymer films have been extensively used in industries such as sensors, optoelectronic devices, and antistatic coating. Among the several conducting polymers, polypyrrole (Ppy) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) have received much attention in recent years. In this work, we have fabricated conductive polymer films on atmospheric plasma-treated PET substrate through the vapor-deposition polymerization method. Iron(III) chloride and Iron(III) p-toluene sulfonate were used as oxidizing agents, and p- toluene sulfonic acid was used as a doping agent. The antistatic thin film have been characterized by various analytical techniques such as AFM, SEM, UV-vis, and Work-surface tester. |
