Aqueous Conductive Ink from Ag Nanoparticle among Carbon nanotubes for Printed Electrodes |

Aqueous conductive ink was synthesized successfully that composed by carbon nanotube (CNT) and silver nanoparticle (SNP). The SNP was formed by reducing silver nitrate in the presence of CNTs dispersed in cellulose solution where the SNP used a poly (acrylic acid) and a diethanolamine as surface capping agent and reducing agent respectively. The SNP was accommodated CNTs by an approach of Ag nanocrystal self-assembly, and then aqueous conductive ink was prepared. The accommodated SNP, self-assemble on the surface of CNT and grow into balls approximately a few hundred nanometers in diameter. The CNT is a useful binder for increasing adhesion force of both SNPs. The aqueous conductive ink was characterized by Raman, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to confirm that SNPs were uniformly accommodated among the CNTs. The electrode printed by the ink shows a high electrical conductivity as comparing with an electrode using pristine CNT ink. |
