제목 The Influence of Surface interaction on Transition Behavior of Block copolymer films
초록 The physical properties of polymer in confined geometries are different from bulk states polymers due to influence of surface interaction. As the interfacial interactions can control the microdomian orientations of block copolymers in the films, the interfacial interactions can also have an effect on order-disorder transition (ODT) not to mention of the difference in bulk ODT. Here, the thickness dependence of the order-to-disorder transition (ODT) has been investigated in thin films of a symmetric polystyrene-b-poly(methyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PMMA) on different substrates, a random copolymer (P(S-r-MMA)) grafted to the substrate where the interfacial interactions are balanced and PS-brush substrate having the preferential interactions with the PS component of the block copolymer. The thickness dependence of transition temperatures for PS-b-PMMA films will be discussed by in-situ grazing incidence small angle x-ray scattering (GISAXS).
