We investigated the transition behavior such as the order-to-order transition (OOT) and the order-to-disorder transition (ODT) for binary mixtures, composed of asymmetric block copolymer (BCP) and homopolymer (PS) using SAXS and GISAXS. In case of BCP melt, the neat PS-b-PI melts show the sequential phase transition (Lam-HPL-Gyroid-HEX). The transition temperature of binary mixture, such as OOT or ODT, and transition path way were significantly changed with increasing amount of PS in binary mixture. For the BCP films, the interfacial interactions at film/substrate and film/air interfaces significantly influence not only the micro domain orientation with respect to a substrate but also the phase behavior. As a result, the different sequential phase transition and path ways were identified in the thin film and melts system. From these results, we will discuss about the homopolymer effect on the transition temperature and path way in melts and films system of binary mixture. |
