제목 Preparation,Mechanical Properties And Swelling Behaviour Of The Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube/Gelatin Nanocomposite
초록 Abstract: MWNT/gelatin nanocomposite films were prepared by solution casting. MWNTs were uniformly dispersed in water by using sonication with anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate. The thin film in the air-dried state was studied for dynamic mechanical and mechanical properties. The MWNTs reinforcement in the gelatin showed significant effect on the dynamic mechanical properties of the gelatin with considerable increase of the storage modulus (E), loss modulus (E), tensile strength and modulus which may be attributable to the uniform dispersion of the MWNTs in the polymer and the strong interfacial interaction between the MWNTs and gelatin. The swelling behaviours (swelling rate, swelling kinetics, maximum solvent uptake etc.) are also investigated [1]. MWNT/gelatin nanocomposite showed increased rate of swelling with second order kinetics and more solvent up take compare to pure gelatin.
