제목 | In-situ 3-D Printing Technology for Paper and Packging Materials |
초록 | Cellulose fiber has many outstanding properties such as being hydrophilic, non-toxic, and biodegradable. Meanwhile, it also has some disadvantages compared to synthetic fibers such as PE and PP. It is weaker in mechanical strength and lacks hydrophobicity which are considered important to paper and packaging materials. A demand to replace synthetic fibers with cellulose fibers in producing wrapping or packaging materials has been increasing rapidly. With an emergence of the 4th industrial revolution period, 3D printing technology has been developed, but its potential applications have not been fully explored in paper industry. In this study, some potential applications of 3D printing technology have been suggested. As an illustration, in-situ SAP-paper composite produced by 3D printing technology paper will be discussed. *This work was supported by the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea (Project No. 20002396) |
