제목 A Study on the Elemental Mercury Adsorption Properties of Various Metal-loaded Activated Carbons
초록 The elemental mercury adsorption properties of various metal (Ni or Ag)-loaded activated carbon (ACs) were investigated. The pore structure of the ACs before and after metal plating was studied by N2/77 K isothermal adsorption. Real incineration off-gas and in-lab simulated combustion flue gases (N2+Hg) were used. As experimental results, the ACs showed a decrease in specific surface area and micro and total pore volume with increasing metal content. The elemental mercury adsorption properties of the ACs were predominantly increased. It is indicated that Cu-plated ACFs showed better elemental mercury adsorption properties due to the higher activity of nickel metal.
