Preparation and Characteristic of Thermo-sensitive Chitosan-F127-Chitosan Tri-block Copolymer as Scaffold for Cell delivery |

In this study, we synthesized thermo-sensitive chitosan–F127-chitosan tri-block copolymer by radical polymerization. The tri-block copolymers has a property of sol-gel phase transition in particular temperature. The chitosan of narrow molecular weight distribution was prepared by ultrafilteration method. The characterization of triblock copolymer were analyzed by 1H NMR, FT-IR and SEM. The triblock copolymer showed that it was occurred sol-gel phase transition at certain temperature by hydrophobic-hydrophilic moiety balance. These results suggest that chitosan-F127-chitosan tri-block copolymer can apply biomaterial field such as scaffold for cell delivery.
