Layer by layer (lbl) assembled multilayer thin films are used in drug delivery system with attractive advantages such as unlimited choice of building block of film and free modification of film structure. The controlling of film properties is important to modeling of drug delivery film. So, we approached to fundamental properties of lbl films constructed by different substances like PS-b-PAA amphiphilic block copolymer micelle (BCM) as nano-sized drug vehicles, 2D shaped graphene oxide (GO) and branched polyethylenimine (bPEI). Then, we compared the thickness, roughness, morphology, adsorbed quantity and release profile of (bPEI/BCM) film to those of (GO/BCM) film at different pH conditions. We believe that this study of pH dependent formation and dissociation of multilayer films using polyelectrolyte, BCM and GO as building blocks would provide the controlling technique of the properties of lbl assembled film which adapted to various purpose of biomedical applications. |
