In polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC), reactive oxygen species (ROSs), which is a redox reaction by-product, on the membrane electrode assembly (MEA) can cause crucial deterioration of chemical and physical stability of sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) (SPAES) membrane by cutting polymer chain. Therefore, graphene oxide modified using hindered amine (HA-GO) membrane was used as a filler to prepare SPAES composite because both GO and HA-GO have an antioxidant property. In comparison to pristine SPAES, SPAES/HA-GO composite membrane showed better chemical and physical properties. |
