Immobilization of an antimicrobial peptide on solid substrates via initiated chemical vapor deposition (iCVD) |
초록 |
We developed a simple and efficient method for the immobilization of a potent AMP on the surface of solid supports via initiated chemical vapor deposition (iCVD). The surface of the slide glass was functionalized with vinyl-containing polymer by iCVD, and Cys-linked AMP peptides could be immobilized on the functionalized surface via simple thiol-ene click chemistry with high efficiency. The antimicrobial efficacy of the immobilized peptides was investigated against pathogenic bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus and it was revealed that AMP-GS-Cys exhibited high antibacterial efficacy (>96%). |
