제목 Electrically conductive graphene/poly(methylmethacrylate) composites of ultra-low percolation threshold by electrostatic self-assembly in aqueous medium
초록 Graphene can make an interconnected three-dimensional electrically conductive network in the composite of poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) by a novel method utilizing electrostatic self-assembly. In addition, the preparatory mixing step is eco-friendly if water-dispersible cationic graphene is used for the self-assembly with anionic PMMA particles in water. Thermally reduced graphene, modified to have cationic ammonium ion (AAG) and thus stably dispersible in water, is simply mixed in water for self-assembly by ionic interaction with anionic PMMA particles of various sizes. The AAG self-assembled well with PMMA particles, and the self-assembled composites generates AAG network effectively when compression molded.
