제목 Electrical and rheological properties of polyamide 6,6 / multiwalled carbon nanotube composites
초록 CNT has exceptional properties and large aspect ratio make them excellent candidates as fillers in multifunctional nanocomposites. In this work, the electrical properties and the rheological properties of polyamide 6,6/MWNT nanocomposites were investigated. MWNT’s surfaces were modified using acid treatment for better compatibility with PA66 matrix. PA66/MWNT nanocomposites containing different MWNT contents (0~5wt %) were prepared by melt mixing method. The dispersion of MWNT in PA66 matrix was observed by SEM. The electrical properties were characterized by 2 point probe method (Probe Station). The rheological properties were studied by advanced rheometric expansion system (ARES). As a result, PA66/MWNT nanocomposites had the electrical percolation threshold and showed solid-like behavior with increasing the MWNT content.
