In comparison to other cancers, gastrointestinal (GI) cancers are relatively easily diagnosed and treated with improvement of science technology and endoscopic devices. Lately, in the medical field the combination of endoscopy and photodynamic therapy was utilized for GI cancer theragnosis. In this study, we fabricated optimal material for endoscopic photodynamic diagnosis and therapy of GI cancer with high solubility, cancer targeting efficacy and therapeutic effect. Distinct difference between normal and cancer after treating optimal photosensitizer was confirmed with in vitro test. Additional cancer recognizable property and therapeutic effect were also approved with tissue sample and animal model. |
