제목 A light-driven 3D soft transforming robot enabled by photocontrolled reversible assembly and shape reconfiguration of 2D liquid crystalline network modules
초록 In this study, Photo-controlled locomotion, shape reconfiguration, reversible assembly and disassembly processes of 2D liquid crystalline network (LCN) modules are presented. Locomotion of modules including different dye dopants occurs under different visible-wavelength lights. Multi light-driven locomotion occurs differently for each three visible light wavelength band, by using variety of three different dyes through photo-chemical or photo-thermal stimulation. Also, allyl sulfide crosslinker enables shape reconfiguration, reversible assembly and disassembly processes among interfaces of each 2D LCN modules, by dynamic covalent bond exchange under UV irradiation. 3D soft transforming robot manufactured by reconfiguration and reversible assembly and disassembly of 2D LCN modules are demonstrated.
