제목 Fabrication of PAH/DP Nanocapsules Containing SPIONs for Cancer Theragnosis
초록 Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a promising method for the treatment of several cancers. It involves the systemic administration of photosensitizers like porphyrin. In this work, a 3rd generation dendrimer porphyrin (DP) with 32 carboxyl groups on the periphery was used as a component for a layer-by-layer structure. To enhance the efficacy and tumor-specificity of PDT, poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) / DP nano-sized capsule was constructed through a LbL self-assembly on a removable template. Moreover, multifunctional nanocapsule was fabricated that is capable to diagnose cancer cells using MR contrast agent by containing superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(SPIONs) on nanocapsules with PDT effect. Finally, the agent for surface modification could be coated onto the nanocapsules through electrostatic interaction between DP and Polyethylene glycol (PEG). Thus, diagnosis and treatment of cancer cells were implemented after injecting the nanocapsules into the cancer cells.
