Effects of Process Variables on coating of Au on TiO2 Nanoparticles by Deposition-Precipitation Method |

Gold (Au) can be deposited as nanoparticles on a variety of support materials [1] for catalytic application and also possible in IVD testing due to the available interactions between AuNPs and biomolecules [2]. Au coated on TiO2 was prepared by various methods, including deposition-precipitation with NaOH (DP-NaOH) [3,4] or urea (DP-urea) [5,6]. Changing process variables including pH, order of adding reactants and using reducing agent was taken place to find out the the better conditions for coating reaction. |
