제목 Effect of solution concentrations on the morphology development of PAN/PMMA electrospun fibers
초록 The electrospinning process is a useful tool to make nano-scale fiber webs. The polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) solutions dissolved in N,N-dimethylmethanamide(DMF) were prepared in various weight percents. The range of PAN concentration is from 5wt% to 14wt% and PMMA is from 15wt% to 30wt%. Each solution was converted as a nanofiber web by electrospinning. And then PAN nanofibers were treated at high temperature. The morphology and diameter of fibers were investigated using scanning electron microscope(SEM). PAN and PMMA fibers were produced in specific concentrations and the diameter of PAN/PMMA fibers increased with increasing its concentration. After thermal treatment, the PAN fibers were shrunk and formed irregularly.
