제목 Preparation of Acrylamide Grafted Kenaf Fibers by Gamma-ray Irradiation
초록  Surface graft is one of the widely used methods for preparing functional materials with new properties. This technique has enabled the preparation of polymeric materials containing functional groups on their branches grafted onto variety substrate polymers. Acrylamide has been grafted onto kenaf fibers under irradiation with gamma rays. The absorbed dose ranged from 20 to 100 kGy and dose rate was 10 kGy/h. The grafting yield increased with increasing irradiation dose. After the graft polymerization, the chemical structure and morphology of the surfaces were examined by FT-IR, TGA, and SEM.
