제목 Fabrication of Solid Polymer Electrolyte (SPEs) Using Plasticizer for Lithium Ion Batteries.
초록 SPEs has shown promise as candidates to suppress lithium dendrite growth, but the challenge of simultaneously maintaining high mechanical strength and high ionic conductivity at room temperature. In this study, a new kind of SPEs based on bridged poly-silsesquioxane (BPS) containing poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) units were fabricated. PEG has strong lithium ion solvating ability and high dielectric constant, which has been extensively used for SPEs system. However, PEG-based SPEs still exhibit very low ionic conductivity at RT because of the low mobility of the ionic charges in the matrix caused by high crystallinity of ethylene glycol chains. We report the synthesis of a star-shaped borate ester platicizer, which was then incorporated in the matrix. PEG-borate ester has been used as a low molecular weight plasticizer to improve the ionic conductivity of PEG-based SPEs. We characterizaed the electric thermal characteristics of SPE based BPS containing PEG units with a plasticizer.
