Molecular interaction parameters such as Margules constant A and Flory-Huggins parameter characterize phase behavior of multicomponent mixtures. The parameter also provides equations for the heat capacity (or) of the mixture. is more realistic than and therefore it would be interesting to examine phase behavior of multicomponent mixtures in relation to the heat capacity. On the basis of whether heat capacities predicted by the models (or equations) are practical, patterns of phase behavior can be judged on whether they are probable or not. This method may provide a useful and rapid way to screen the patterens of phase behavior of multicomponent mixtures. |
