To fulfill the technological requirements these days, nanomaterials have been developed as a tremendous potential in various fields, especially in the role of multifunctional applications in one-step process for bio-medical theragnosis. In this study, by harvesting near infrared energy, we focused on using of two materials as hybrid nanoparticles (HNs) for magnetic resonance imaging and photoacoustic - photothermal therapy simultaneously. Inside, conjugated polymer recognized through electro-optical characteristics combined to magnetically contrast terms of magnetic nanoparticles. Our water-dispersed HNs were assembled successfully by forming the phase-separated thin film of a conjugated polymer, phospholipids and iron oxide nanocrystals, followed by shattering the film with water penetration into the polar region of the phase-separated film under ultrasonication. The specific characteristics were observed in optimal mixing ratio, presenting simultaneous multifunctionalities. |
