| 제목 | Purification of sorbitol using crystallization process |
| 초록 | In this research, two crystallization processes will be approached: layer process and suspension process, in order to increase purity of sorbitol. With layer process, the purification of sorbitol was investigated with two methods, using solvents and without solvents (melts crystallization). The factors like seeding temperature, cooling rate, ratio of solvent with raw material were examined to control purity rate and yield of this process. With suspension process, the purification was carried out with and without solvent. The effect of some factors: speed of stirrer, seeding temperature, seeding amount to crystal size, purity, as well as yield was discussed. |
