제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Sulfonated Polytriazole for fuel cell membrane
초록 The most significant proton exchange membrane(PEM) development since the introduction of Nafion by Dupont in 1968 has been a perflourosulfonic acid membrane. However, perflourinated membranes are so expensive due to the toxic and complicated production process and have high MeOH cross-over. In this study, Poly[p-,m-phenylene-(4-phenyl)-1,2,4-triazoles] that has good gas separation properties and thermal stabilities was prepared and then sulfonation was carried out. The membrane and polymer were characterized by ion conductivity, IEC(ion exchange capacity), DS(dgree of sulfonation), MeOH permeability and water uptake etc. Other characters for fuel cell membrane such as phase separation behavior and conductivity etc. will be discussed.
