Polyurethane coating materials was widely used owing to highly elastic property and thermal property compared with many other types. However, petroleum resources has been gradually exhausted, and environment regulations are getting intensified. Therefore, petroleum resources have to be substituted to eco-friendly resources. In this work, eco-friendly polyurethanes were synthesized by dicyclohexyl diisocyanate along with furan and furan derivative from biomass for a substitute limited petroleum resources and reducing carbon emission. Finally, we investigated that polymerization parameters of temperature and catalyst influence upon the molecular weight, thermal properties and physical properties. |
