제목 Properties of PUA/SiO2 Composites by Sol-Gel Process
초록 The recent interest in polyurethane acrylate(PUA) used as coating agents for PC or ABS has led to considerable research into the preparation of PUA having good abrasion, surface hardness, and heat resistance properties. Consequently, a number of researchers have attempted to prepare organic-inorganic hybrid, leading to the use of various methods in the introduction of silica. In this study, PUA/SiO2 composites were prepared as follows: 1)PU prepolymer was synthesized with polyol and diisocyanate. 2)PUA was prepared by reacting PU prepolymer and HEMA. 3)PUA/SiO2 composites were prepared by sol-gel process of TEOS mixture and by polymerizing PUA. The effects of reaction conditions and structural factors such as kind of polyol and diisocyanate, amount of silica on the morphology, thermal and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated with SEM, TGA, DSC, UTM and durometer. PUA/SiO2 composites prepared with other kind of silica were also investigated and compared.
