Preparation of multi-layered nanocaomposite films composed of graphene oxide and chitosan |

Recently, more attention has been paid to natural polymers for sustained development and environmental preservation. As one of natural polymers, the chitosan was used for nanocomposite film where graphene oxide(GO) and chitosan(CS) form a layer by layer structure. Then nanocomposite films were compared with GO-CS film by means of simple mixing. The multi-layered nanocomposite film consisted of 20 layers that both of GO and CS formed 10 layers each other. The multi-layered films and nanocomposite structure were observed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The multi-layered films were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) for the thermal behavior and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) for mechanical properties. Finally, optical properties of the multi-layered film were investigated by UV-vis absorption spectroscopy. |
