Thermally stable high–triplet-energy materials as a bipolar host for phenylimidazole derived blue triplet emitters |
초록 |
We successfully synthesized thermally stable host materials with high triplet energy of 2.89 eV which was suitable for blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes. The host materials had bipolar transport property because of carbazole compounds modified with a pyridoindole moiety that is a weak electron withdrawing substituent. The bipolar host material exhibited distinguishingly high glass transition temperature of 196 oC and thermal decomposition temperature of 486 oC. The HOMO and LUMO levels of the two compounds were -6.04/-2.63 eV and -6.06/-2.63 eV, respectively. A maximum quantum efficiency of 25.4% was achieved and the color coordinate of the host device was (0.19,0.39) at 1000cd/m2. |
