제목 Creating gold nanoparticle integrated biosensing platforms
초록 In this talk, I will discuss our latest efforts made on the development of ultrasensitive biosensing platforms in conjunction with different shapes and sizes of biomolecule tethered gold nanoparticles for medical diagnostics and water quality control applications. In order to enhance the selectivity of our sensing platform, the formation of surface sandwich complex utilizing double ligands for one target is also introduced. Target analyte examples include alpha-1-trypsin and tau 381 in serum and plasma for lung cancer and Alzheimer disease diagnosis, respectively in addition to some of commonly used antibiotic drug molecules found in river water. Different sets of antibody-aptamer ligand pair sandwich assays specific for target molecules will be demonstrated with surface plasmon resonance and electrochemical methods. Lastly, future aspects of our gold nanoparticle integrated biosensors will be highlighted.
