제목 | Synthesis of two-dimensional material at bulk scale and investigation of properties as drilling mud |
초록 | Drilling mud is fluid used in drilling operation, which conducts transporting cuttings from reservoir, controlling formation pressure and maintaining well bore stability. In order to improve the drilling mud performance, nano-additives such as Fe2O3, SiO2 were added. Transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) is composed of transition metal atom and chalcogen atom. We expected TMD material can be good nano-additives as like Fe2O3 or SiO2 because it has 2-D structure, low coefficient of friction and hydrophilic. Hence we investigated properties of drilling mud with TMD nanosheets. The viscosity, shear stress, and stability after treatment in high temperature environment (150 ℃, 10 bar, 10 hours) were measured.
