제목 ZnO Nanoparicales-Transparent Polymer Composites for Light Extraction Structures of Organic Light-Emitting Diodes
초록 Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have attracted a great deal of attention as future lighting sources and they have already found application in commercial small display devices. Typically, the external quantum efficiency of conventional OLEDs is still limited to about 30% due to the total internal reflection as waveguide and substrate modes in the organic layers/transparent electrodes and the substrate. Therefore, the efficient light extraction system is required to realize high efficiency OLEDs. In this study, we demonstrate an light extraction system based ZnO nanoparticles-transparent polymer composites by using a simple and easy manufacturing process. The light extraction system developed here shows a superior light scattering effect. The results indicate that the developed system here could serve as a promising light extraction system and contribute the development of efficient OLEDs.
