제목 Electrospinning of multi-component nanofibers with hydrogel properties
초록 Poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) is common material for hydrogel that PEG is cross-linked via functional molecules. However, it has been rarely used independently to nanofiber material because of poor mechanical strength to keep mesh structure. Therefore, -OH of 4-arm PEG (Mw 40000) was functionalized with dopamine [dopa-PEG]. And thiolated poly (ethylene imine) (Mw 1800) [th-PEI] and 0.1mM NaIO4 of dopamine were prepared to crosslink dopa-PEG. Firstly, 45% (w/v) of PEG (flow rate, 1ml/h) and 5% (w/v) th-PEI solution (flow rate, 0.5ml/h) in methanol flowed respectively thorough Teflon tubing and mixed, the mixture was mixed again with NaIO4 (flow rate, 0.1ml/h) from other tubing and final mixture was electrospun (voltage, 20kV). During the mixing and subsequent electrospining, oxidised dopamine by NaIO4 and quickly reacts with thiol of PEI by Michael type addition. Thereby, PEG nanofiber with increased mechanical strength for mesh was obtained with swellable property.
