Controlled drug release based on drug encapsulated carbon black/ PVA fiber by controlling the electric force |

In this study, the composite of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber and carbon black was prepared including a ketoprofen by electrospinning method as a transdermal drug delivery material. The permeation rate of ketoprofen across mouse skin was evaluated using a Franz diffusion cell system under various electric forces. The surface morphology of resultant samples was investigated by FE-SEM images and their functional groups of surface were studied by using FT-IR. The thermal stability was also studied by TGA analysis and the experimental release analysis was carried out by using HPLC. Conclusively, it was found that drug can be controlled by controlling the electric force to across the skin. So it is sure that the properties of drug delivery can be controlled by using our system. |
