제목 Suppressed catalyst aggregation during a slurry-phase Fischer-Tropsch synthesis on cobalt-based catalysts
초록 The cobalt-based Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (FTS) catalyst in a slurry-phase is intensely investigated with respect to its strong mechanical strength and high surface area. In order to suppress the catalyst aggregation in a slurry-phase reaction and develop a robust F-T technology, the effect of addition of linear higher alcohols, calcination temperatures of Al2O3 support and types of support (SiO2, Al2O3 or TiO2) and were systematically investigated. The addition of higher alcohols and higher formation rate of alcohols during FTS reaction is responsible for the suppression of catalyst aggregation in the slurry-phase due to the facile micro-emulsion formation of water with wax generated.
